The aim of the supply chain team is to provide excellence in procurement across an extensive range of commodities and services. Their work involves organizing the procurement of commodities and services that include Hot Rolled Coils, packaging materials, capital equipment, marketing assets, and business consumables and services and ensuring the transport and delivery of products in the most effective way to customers. Students & Recent Graduates

ALAF’s internship programs give students an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience that lets them put their education to work in a workplace setting. Students can pair their academic knowledge with real-life business experience, taking their learning and skills to the next level. Our internship programs provide students an excellent way to experience ALAF from the inside and are a great way to explore the career choices that lie ahead. The Graduate Trainee program (GTP) is a 12-18 Months fast track development program that will see a diverse team of professionals delivering high quality products to our customers and long term value to our shareholders. They will receive exposure to various functions of the business, take up challenging work assignments, and participate in managing projects while formally receiving training. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be considered for substantive appointments within the company establishment. To be considered for the Graduate Trainee program, candidates must have: Relevant Degree attained not earlier than one year from the date of application with a second class honors upper division and above from a recognized university; Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral; Have Excellent Information Technology skills; Evidence of holding positions of responsibility – could have been at school, university or in employment; Be able to demonstrate planning and organizing skills; Ability to work in a team and have team working skills; Demonstrate problem solving and negotiating skills. As part of the selection process, a potential candidate visits ALAF’s corporate headquarters to participate in panel interviews and a comprehensive skills assessment.
